Carter just asked, in all seriousness, "Do Gummy Life Savers save gummy people's lives?"
I love it.

Meet Jovie!
Miss Jovie Michelle Wiesner was born on September 1, 2013, much to the surprise of Evan and me. Yes, I know that at 3 days shy of 39 weeks, I should have been just a little bit more ready, but for some reason I got it into my head that I was going to be late. I even pushed my scheduled C-section out to 10 days past my due date, just to give little Jo a better chance to come out the natural way. So when my parents took our boys to the Sizemore family reunion for a 4 day weekend Friday afternoon, I really thought that we would get a lot done! (Or at least a bit, considering my condition.) I had a whole list of things I’d put off the whole pregnancy, you know, like packing my bag to the hospital, and all those other things that you just know aren’t going to ever happen if they don’t happen before the baby comes. So when I got up to pee in the wee hours of the morning, got back in bed, and then wet the bed, I was very surprised. And not to add too much info to this blog, but WOW. I really thought that there would be a gush and that would be it. Not really expecting the CONTINUOUS gushing. I had to ride to the hospital with a piddle pad on the car seat!! (Ok, not really a piddle pad, it was actually a towel. But really. I was not expecting that.)
So we rushed to the hospital (after a quick shower and a very
rushed pack job), getting there at 7 am, only to sit around and wait for my
labor to progress. Through a day and a night of waiting, cramping, contracting
and more, at 8:19 am she was finally born, and she came out lifting her head
and yelling at me. She (thank the Lord), had a head in the 6th
percentile, and required less than an hour of actual pushing. It’s been over 5
weeks now, and I feel like I am healing well from the whole thing.
She is a very good baby, and other than the lack of sleep,
things are going pretty well. She has even gone a few nights sleeping as long
as 7 HOURS in between eating (which makes the hour and a half to feed her, burp
her and get her to go back to sleep not so bad). Usually it’s more like a 5
hour stretch, though she’s still fairly inconsistent. She is still sleeping a
lot during the day as well, mostly because everyone wants to hold her and her
absolute favorite napping position is tucked into someone’s arms. She would
probably nap in the arms of an orangutan if one was holding her, and be just as
happy.
The boys LOVE their sissy, and are very big helpers when
they want to be. Logan is having a little trouble accepting that she isn’t big
enough yet to play, but that hasn’t stopped
him from bringing transformers
and random toys over to see. For the first few weeks, every time he came into
the house from somewhere he would say “where’s sissy?” and proceed to look all
over the house until finding her. He constantly wants to give her kisses and be
next to her and I, and there have already been a few “disagreements” when he
has to go somewhere (like upstairs to bed) and he can’t stay downstairs with
her and I while I nurse. He is getting very good at pronouncing her name, as
well, and tells anyone who will listen that her name is “Jovie Michelle.”
Carter is more practical about the helping, and has taken
his job of reminding mommy to drink water (which I assigned to him a few days
after we got home from the hospital) very seriously. He will look at me
randomly sometimes, pick up a water bottle he finds and say “did you forget to
drink this?” with a HUGE “I’m the most helpful boy in the world” smile on his
face. Priceless. He is usually the first to stick his head in her carrier to
give her a kiss anytime we’re in public and someone comments on the baby too;
he seems very proud of his little sister.
A little while after she came home the boys decided they needed
nicknames for her, so Logan calls her Sam or Sam-Sam (I don’t remember where it came from) and
Carter decided his nickname for her is “Wa-Wa” (also his favorite word). He
doesn’t use it, though, like Logan does when he’s goggling at her, but Logan
still includes it when he claims her full name is “Jovie Michelle Sam Wa-Wa
Wiesner.” There may actually be another name thrown in there after Wa-Wa, but
it’s slipped my mind at the moment.
For the first few weeks, both boys wanted Jovie to sleep
with them in their room, and tried on a few separate occasions to convince me
to wheel her bassinet (which is currently in our room) into their room. They
assured me they would come wake me up if she cried. I did not give in, and they
haven’t asked in a while. Logan also asked a few times for me to bring her in “Just
to see” if she liked lying next to him in bed. I was hoping he would forget the
idea, so one night said, “yes, as soon
as she’s done eating” thinking he would fall asleep in a few minutes anyway. An
hour later, after I had brought her downstairs to Evan, I hear a little “it is
taking a really long time…” from his bedroom. He had kept himself awake, quiet
as could be, just to have her sleep next to him! I couldn’t resist and brought
her back up. He was disappointed I wouldn’t leave her there all night, but he
was pretty happy at the same time. Once he asked during his quiet rest time for
me to bring her in, saying he had made a spot for her on his cot (a blanket
laid out on the floor, a must for nap time), and when I said no, the
disappointment in his little eyes, (especially since he had made a little spot
just for her) was too much for me. Bad mom for being wishy-washy, but really,
how could I resist this! Here they are
together, taking a rest.

Last summer
In an attempt to update the blog, I typed half a post and saved it, intending to come back to it later. When pulling it up to finish it, I came across another unfinished blog - from Aug 2012. Oops. So here is a blast from our past...
Logan found a roll of wrapping paper under my bed the other
day, and brought it all the way downstairs. I saw it, and briefly objected,
since they always crinkle the paper up when they play with it, but I was in the
middle of something and so let him play for a minute before confiscating it. He
walks in to the kitchen a minute later and hands me the roll. “I wapped da
pay-pa!” It took me a minute to realize that he wasn’t just handing me the roll
of wrapping paper – he had actually wrapped paper.
He had unrolled the wrapping paper, laid flat multiple sheets of paper (8 ½ x
11, taken from my “to be filed” pile) and rolled them up into the roll of
wrapping paper. He was very proud.
Our Eggplant…The boys keep looking in vain to find the eggs
that it must grow sooner or later. It is a miniature white eggplant, so that
makes it all very confusing.
The boys’ favorite song for the last month or so is Michael
Jackson’s “She’s out of My Life.” They also feel the need to remind me every
time we listen to it that Michael Jackson is a boy but he just has a high
voice. He’s not a girl.
They are in their “question everything” stage (does that
ever end??).
It does, by the way, but only partially. Last summer, the boys' favorite word was "WHY?" and they would use it repeatedly. There is a bit more depth to their questions now. Logan will sometimes come up with an elaborate scenario for something, usually when we're in the car and I can't hear all that he's saying the first time, and then end it with "Could that really happen, in real life?" Uh...Yes? I think the last one was regarding a lone construction sawhorse thing blinking on the side of the road, and the reason it was
there.
there.

Another mini weez
I ended my last post with "a lot of things can happen in a year"
knowing something that most everyone (hopefully) knows by now. We are expecting
our next little addition to our family on Sept 9th, though at the time of the
last post we had waited a bit to tell everyone the news. Jovie Michelle Wiesner
is expected on September 9th, so for those of you smarty pants calculators out
there, that means, as of today, I've officially made it 4 days longer in this
pregnancy than my last one. Woo Hoo! New records are cool.
Unfortunately, now I'm in uncharted preggo land, and I think the day I hit 35 (since I was already on weeks of "bed rest" with the boys by this point and am very much not now), my body has started to retaliate by giving me all the crappy parts of this "magical journey" that I got to skip last time. Enter the swelling feet, peeing an ounce every hour at night and all. Groan...Evan asks, "are you going to be able to make it another month?" Probably not. I love our "new yellow house" (as the boys still call it) but there is no AC upstairs and I gotta tell you - I'm feeling the heat! Wish me luck fellow readers, that I can hold out (since I have a lot of choice and all!)
As other things go, the boys are doing great and amaze me every day with the little things they say and remember. They are going to be great big brothers, since they give sissy hugs and kisses on my belly all the time and (especially Logan) get very excited when there is a new baby for them to goggle over. They are 4, however, so I think that no matter how cute she comes out, she will still take a back seat to the important things like Transformers and Dinosaur Train.
Speaking of Dinosaur Train, here are a few things about my growing boys that are worth documenting (to me):
- Carter's favorite song (for quite a few months now) is "Big Rock Candy Mountain" from the Oh Brother Where Art Thou Soundtrack. Not the cute kids version, mind you, the one that sings about "cigarette trees" and a lake of whiskey. Not sure when the switch from "hey I like this song" and the "mom will you sing big rock candy mountain" EVERY NIGHT came, but since I only knew the words to the one on the album, that was the one I sung. Bad mom. Thanks to Aunt Ellie, he even knows that there is a repeat button on the car radio and has requested (mostly unsuccessfully) to hear it 21 times. (His favorite number). Every once and a while, Logan will request it at night (or that I sit in between their beds so he can hear better), but usually not.
-Both boys are still getting speech therapy, and are doing well. They are working on different things, but they are doing ok. Carter is very hesitant to try something until he’s got it down (a habit in everything, from walking to talking to sports), so it makes practicing very tricky. He will shut down and refuse to try something if he gets a hint what you’re trying to make him do. Logan is willing to try anything and so has progressed a bit faster (even if he get the wrong sound sometimes). We’ve got s’s and f’s all over the house!
A result of this fear of doing it wrong is that (in my opinion), Carter is nervous when he greets new people because he’s tired of people saying “what?” So instead, he greets people (family and strangers alike) with “WAA – WAA!” It’s very embarrassing. It’s his favorite word, though, and uses it as his standard answer to most questions. He has even ordered “waa waa milk” once when we were out to eat (much to the waitress’s momentary confusion). Still working on that one.
-Legos are the biggest hit most days, and Logan is determined to build a “Lego World!” He actually wants us to build it for him by constructing all of the different sets he got for Christmas, but alas him mom and dad don’t have the same motivation he does. Carter likes to break things up, so that makes it a bit tricky, too.
-For a while, the boys were pretty set on their fav colors, and insisted on getting things in those colors. Carter was yellow and Logan’s was red and blue. Not much insisting lately, (like in the past 6 months come to think of it), but I wanted to get that documented anyway.
I’m sure my next post won’t be for a while, since I’ll be a bit busy in the next month or two, but I will post again.

Before I forget again...
I know it's been a long time. About 7 months I think. Busy times. We bought our first house, and now reside (and WILL for a while) in our "New yellow house" in Sherwood, OR. There are a million little things that I always think "I should put that on the blog." Clearly, I haven't. Busy girl I am, fast typist I am not. So, before I forget this all, I wanted to put a few things down about my growing babies...
- Last spring, the boys' favorite song in the world was Michael Jackson's "She's out of my life." They would want to listen to it over and over again, and it actually worked as a bribe for a little while. Alas, they figured me out, and stopped requesting to listen to it around the end of summer. They haven't agreed on a single song since then (or a type of music for that matter!).
-We started potty training the boys just before Thanksgiving 2011. Carter took about 6 months, and then he was wearing his "Tiney-Whineys" as he liked to call them, day and night. He had cool superhero underpants too, but for a while there, the tidey-whiteys were the way to go, as far as he was concerned. Brother took a bit longer, but is officially pull-up free as well (going on about 2 months now). YEAHHHH!! I seriously never realized how exciting poop in the potty can be.
-Speaking of super hero underpants, the boys have recently gotten pretty heavy in to the idea of Super heroes and Transformers. I think they got it from the McDonald's toys (transformers) and the various Super guys on their underpants. They want to know all about each one, their names, and of course their Theme songs. Of course I don't actually remember them, and so (before I you-tubed them) I sang them as best I recall. A few weeks ago, Carter went 2 days straight singing "Gah-nah-nah-nah Gah-nah-nah-nah Gah-nah-nah-nah (repeat 25 times) BATMAN!" I'm not sure where the "G" came from, but it is very funny listening to the boys sing it. I did finally look up the songs, and found out only Spiderman really has words. I was a bit disappointed.
That's all the cute things I can think of at this minute...I'll try and post more before another year goes by. A lot of things can happen in just one year...

Hair Cuts and Flocks of Seagulls
I have a dilemma regarding my sons’ hair styles.
My mom likes the top long and the sides short, and greatly
dislikes it short all over.
Daddy has clippers and likes their heads buzzed. He does not
like it long.
I am cheap; I would prefer to just cut their hair at
home. Unfortunately I am lacking in the
ability to cut squirmy boy heads, and so usually just let dad have his way.
Grandma Susie took the boys to get their hair cut yesterday
at a fun kid’s salon. Since grandma was paying, she got a major say in the
hairstyle.
Here is what she was going for:
The boys have different head shapes, and their hair grows in all different directions, so it's not really realistic. Still, it's cute, and very basic.
Here is what daddy thinks they look like:
Here is what they actually
look like. I think they look like cutey little boys. What do you think?

Memories of the Mighty Mites
These boys’ memories are starting to amaze me. How can these little babies know so much? The other day, just after the boys came downstairs in the morning, Carter climbs up on the stool and says “We live in the ‘tate of Owe -ee-gun.” I was shocked, and then of course tried to capture it on video. No luck. But he did say we lived (when asked) in something that sounded very much like North America. The jury is still out on that one.
This morning, we were discussing what the boys might do at their grandma’s house today, since they’re going for a sleep over. Logan said “one time I went to a movie with Grandma Ju Ju and Grandpa Mark. It was called Happy Feet.” That was 2 months ago.

Silly Pits and Play School
Since we’ve moved back to Oregon, I clearly have not been good at keeping the blog updated. Really, I’m lucky just to get my email checked a few times a week, despite my husband’s best efforts to keep me stocked with the latest technology for checking it anywhere in the house. I got a Kindle Fire for Christmas, and though I love it and have at least one book I’m reading at any given time, I am still terrible at checking email from it. Time just seems to disappear too fast to take time to sit at the computer for hours, or even minutes, at a time when there are so many other things to do.
The boys go to preschool 2 full days each week (which we call "play school") while I try to work every minute they’re there to cover the cost of it, and they are doing fairly well. The teacher gives us a little report at the end of each day that tells me the main things they did, what they had for lunch, and a few other little updates that she checks off. They usually both get most of the good ones checked, like the “participated in class learning” and “was a kind friend,” but the “was quiet” has never been checked.
We’re taking every opportunity to get outside when the sun makes its brief appearances, but we still do a lot of indoor playing. I’m ready for the sun to stay out, though, since Logan is starting to get some real lift into his golf swing and it’s getting harder to keep his golf ball from hitting the TV.
The boys really enjoyed when we taught them the game “up high, down low, too slow!” where you get a high five at the top and then pull your hand away at the bottom before the other person hits it. We also taught them the “Here is the church, here is the steeple” game (which is a folded hands game) that ends with “Open the doors and they all run away” and its really funny when they combine both games and say, “Up high, down low, far away!!” Apparently, it’s the most hilarious thing Carter has ever done in his life, since as he says the whole thing, he can barely breath for laughing so hard. Logan just gives that "I'm so clever" grin he's mastered and does it as many times as you will slap his hand.
The "mommy look at me" is a common phrase lately, and they are repeating things like parrots. For instance, last night I called Logan a “giggle pit” and now Carter is sitting here telling me I’m a “silly pit as (I) type.”
They are starting to play more with each other, which is usually so cute when they sit in the living room side by side, “driving to the store” with an arm around each other. They also fight just as much as they cuddle, but I try to ignore those times. ;)

We’re moving back to Oregon! It’s a long story, but the plans are now being set in motion for us to relocate – again – back to our home and family. Since we decided to do it while we were on a visit up here to Oregon, the boys and I have already been here in Oregon, staying mostly at grandma “oo-wee’s” house (as the boys call my mom, Susie), for 2 months. It won’t be long, however, until daddy heads up here with all of our things from AZ in tow. He’s come up to visit a few times, but we sure miss him a lot!
The boys are doing well so far with the transition, and have been exerting their “terrible two-ness” with mom and grandma any chance they get. They’re sleeping in makeshift big boys beds (one queen bed that they share) since we couldn’t wait until their cribs got here. The pack and play cribs just couldn’t hold them anymore, but they surprised mom by doing a good (not great, but good) job of staying in their bed. Carter is talking all the time, though he still leaves a few key letters out of most words, requiring a translator for most people. He thinks it is hilarious when mom makes up words to songs he knows – he says “dat not ight ong mommy!!!” Logan is also starting to talk more, though his favorite word is still “NO.” In the last few days, he’s started to respond to one of mommy’s reasoning statements (since she knows that reasoning works so well on 2 years olds – ha ha!) with a simple “Oh.” Last night he was getting ready to launch in to a full tantrum when mom drove past the mailbox (he wanted mom to get out of the car to “get mai!”) when mom said, “Grandma already got the mail.” He stopped mid whine and just say “Oh.” That was all it took! If only it were always that easy. J

Here I sit again, looking at the date of my last entry and wondering what I do with all my time. Aren't I an efficient enough mother to take care of my children and keep up on the blog of them growing up? HA HA HA. No, I'm not. Therefore, if you are one of the few disappointed followers of this little blog, I'm sorry. There probably will never be regular entries. (Though I do hope sometime soon to fill out the boys' baby book...or at least start it.) :)
That being said, here is the latest. Both boys are talking all the time now, and turning in to very big helpers (whether I ask for the help or not). They are becoming very independent and can do more and more things on their own. They still keep me very busy, and both take turns with some pretty great tantrums, but we're surviving day to day, and sometimes that's all you can do. The boys are almost always dirty now (which is something I haven't quite gotten used to), and their favorite game is still chasing mommy, being chased by mommy (while I try to catch them for a diaper change or to get clothes on) or being chased by each other. They love horsey rides as well on anyone's back whose willing to gallop around the living room on their hands and knees. If you make the mistake of sitting for too long, one or the other will inevitably try to climb up and yell "ee-yah, ee-yah!" (What's really funny is when whichever boy who is not up on the "horsey" crawls under the horsey's legs on his hands and knees and trys to keep pace just underneath the horsey's head. The boys crack up hysterically when they do that, though it makes "galloping" a little difficult.)
Carter is telling me all about his world; about the things he and his brother do, and about what he wants (and wants me to do). He will stand in his crib holding a book out yelling "mommy put book away!!" or "mommy put banket on me!" His speech and pronunciation are not perfect, and sometimes he needs a translator (me), but it amazes me already some of the things that come out of my baby's mouth. He tattles on his brother sometimes, which I hate to admit, but is hilarious most of the time. If I chastise Logan for something and say, "this is your last warning; if you do this again you're going to get a time out," Carter will say, "Bubba need Ime ouww." (He puts emphasis on the "www" and makes an "o" with his little mouth - also hilarious.) A few times after Carter has said this, Logan will hang his head and silently walk over to sit in time out! (I hardly ever leave him there!)
Carter also really likes to read and/or look at books. He will sit and turn the pages, one by one, until he's finished a book, and then quietly sit and "read" it again.
Logan is doing everything he can to assert his independence. He wants to put his shoes on himself (which he's getting pretty good at), walk up and down the stairs himself (and he does walk, even on his little short legs), and climb up in to his car seat himself. He likes very much to play with his ball sets, including golf, baseball and basketball (all of which he got for his birthday), and if a new person comes to the house he pretends he's shy for a minute and then runs to get a ball so he can show them how well he throws it. He grunts sometimes when he's trying to throw the ball, and it is absolutely adorable to see the effort he puts in to it.
If he wants to play with me, he now comes in to the kitchen, takes hold of my hand and literally walks me into the other room, then points to a space on the floor by his toys and says "it down." He can open the refrigerator very easily, and any door he'd like to (except the ones we've put locks on), and has gotten very good at reaching up to turn the light switches on and off.
And a quick story to wrap things up...
Last Friday, (the 3rd) I went up in to the boys' room to lay them down again, since they were supposed to be taking a nap but were playing and laughing like hooligans instead. When I walked in, my heart stopped for a minutes, because both boys were out of their cribs running around. I recovered quickly from my heart attack, tried not to laugh from hysteria, and laid them down, back in their cribs with a stern talking to. They went to sleep shorty after that (which was more than an hour after I laid them down originally), so they didn't do it again that day. The next day, after Evan (who doesn't work weekends) and I had laid them down and were sitting and listening to them laugh and yell in their room, we heard a door slam shut upstairs. We looked at each other with the "Oh Sh**!" look and both bolted upstairs. Evan got there first, and gave Logan, who had climbed out of his crib, opened the door and then shut it again, a firm verbal reprimand and his mean daddy look. They haven't climbed out since.

Man I cant believe how fast this kid raising thing goes! The boys are going to be 2 this next weekend and it seems like yesterday I was pregnant!! Crazy...Well, aside from growing up at the speed of light, the boys are actually getting cuter everyday. They are so funny, each in their own way, and most of the time I have a hard time not laughing at the things they do. They are both really in to music and dancing right now, and will play a little song on one of their toys (seems like every one has a little tune) and will dance around in circles to it. When it stops, they stop, and then one of them will press it again while the other waits.
I know it's been a long time since I've posted pictures, so here are a few from the past few months (from my phone mostly - sorry for the quality!) to show what they've been up to.
Logan loves hats, and will insist we all wear them when leaving the house. It works out kind of good, though, since the Arizona sun has started to beat down on us again, and the hats offer needed protection for the boys' little white heads. Sometimes his hats fit the situation, sometimes they don't. He doesn't seem to care.
He was also really in to the little potato heads for a little while, but I think he's getting over that a bit. He no longer asks for them to sleep with.

Carter has really started talking this past month. He is saying full sentences now, and is getting very good at handing out directions. "Mommy, pick it up" was his first full one, but now there's also, "put it back," "wipe it up" and lots of others. He tries to say almost anything he hears (which is how Evan gets him to say "Gangsta Roll" as daddy rolls him on to the changing table at night), and it's still a little surprising some of the things he can get his little tongue around. He is very helpful, and loves to get the broom out anytime anything spills. It's a little frustrating at times, since he is not quite aware of the items he knocks off the counter with the long handle.

More Dooties
The boys are just starting to put phrases together, and their pronunciation is often times hilariously adorable. Their comprehension of what I say also astounds and suprises me, but also delights me at the same time. This morning, before I could get the gate up at the bottom of the stairs, both of my little explorers escaped up the stairs in a flash. They've gotten to the point where they're fairly confident on the stairs, and I'm not too worried about them going it alone, so I didn't jump to go get them right away. I listened to their squeels of glee as they chased each other around our bedroom and bathroom. Since it's Monday, and I'm feeling extra lazy, I decided to try just calling them down. Since I know that "Boys! Come down!" is just ignored, I added a "Boys! Come down for a cookie!" As it turns out, that was the magic word. Instantly there was a little scuttle at the top of the stairs and I heard Logan say "Dootie, Dootie" (he doesn't quite have the "K" sound yet for that) and was down as fast as he could slide on his belly. Carter took a minute, since he was busy taking stuff off our bathroom counter, so by the time he got down his brother already had both cookies (I'd set out one for each) in his hands.
Logan gave me the "I'm not going to give him this cookie - he was too slow and I got it fair and square!" look. I bribed him to give his brother the cookie by offering Logan another. Nice parenting: Cookies for breakfast, bribery... But it worked!! (And it was a small cookie, with nuts for protien.)
*As a side note, I also learned the extent of their reach this morning after I waited a minute too long to respond to the "more dooties" request. Instead of waiting for me to say "we're all done with the cookies," Logan (and then Carter and minute later) pulled the bag closer to him on the counter and grabbed out his own. And I had pushed it back.

Peekeeboo
This was an uncompleted entry from a while back...I'm posting it near the time it was written instead of today, since it was a few months ago.
Carter started to say Pee-kee-boo yesterday when Logan held his hands in front of his face. Now they are playing with each other when in their high chairs, taking turns covering their faces and saying gleefully "PEE KEE BOO!"

The "Touchdown"
In an effort to get the boys more excited about sitting down and watching football with daddy, (and because, as parents, we just can’t help teaching the boys to do silly little tricks because they are ADORABLE when they perform), Evan has been teaching the boys to hold their arms up in the air when we yell “Touchdown!” We repeat it a few times for emphasis, and I don’t even need to say “clap, clap, clap” at the end anymore. They just do it.
As I mentioned in a previous blog, the boys have developed another habit, all on their own I might add, of rummaging in the panty (if I mistakenly leave the door open) and pulling out things they might want. They then bring the item to me and say “peez.” Although sometimes they bring me a box of cornbread mix and try and convince me this is the best snack for them, usually it’s something like crackers or something they really do get for a snack. The other night, in this constant pursuit of trying to get mom to give them what they want, when they want, Logan brought me a box of crackers and said “peez.” (I should add here that there is always a big sweet smile to go with the request.) Since it was 5 minutes before we were going upstairs to go to bed, however, I was not about to give in to his charm, and so said “no crackers now.” Did I mention that both boys are also good at taking the bag that boxed products now commonly come in out of the box and opening it themselves? Well, in an effort to help his brother, Carter did just that. As I turned around, (they’d been running around the kitchen while I was rushing and dodging them, trying to get dinner put away so we could go up to put the boys to bed), in slow motion I see Logan snatch the bag back from his brother – upside down. Whale shaped crackers exploded out of the bag, covering the floor and Logan. The smile never left his face as his arms went up in the characteristic “Touchdown!!” gesture. Then, he clapped and started eating crackers off the floor. In all fairness, Carter did add an "uh oh" or two as he happily munched crackers and we all cleaned them up.
